Where it begins again - the story of my 30s

As you might notice, the headline of this blog is "IT WILL MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENE."

That's right. After gaining more life experience and finding clearer answers to questions I once held (as shared in the post Every questions will find its answer), I now feel ready to push myself toward the next and perhaps the biggest transformation.

My 20s have been a phase of exploration, change, and internal transformation. I pushed myself to chase the things I always dreamed of, to reach places I had never been.

As I look toward my 30s, I believe they will make all the difference, perhaps a time when I become the strongest version of myself (as I wrote in A Letter to my strongest version), a version that begins to transform not just within, but more likely lead to tangible, outward results.

Here are a few guiding keys I carry with me:

  • Stay focused. Act. Give my best to what truly inspires and interests me.

  • Be clear and vocal with myself. Focus on my own clarity and self-expression.

  • Explain less. I don't need to justify everyone's actions or behavior. Let things stand as they are.

  • Be confident. Step outside my comfort zone and challenge myself.

  • Stay curious. Keep learning, exploring, and seeking answers.

  • Work efficiently. Time is limited. Find balance between work and life, and use my energy wisely.

  • Never demotivate myself by feeling “not good enough”. Always push forward not from self-doubt, but from the desire to grow and reach a state where I feel truly satisfied.

  • Everything is based on reality, not expectation or ideals.
  • Better storytelling. Personal experience grounded in the reality. It is personal, unique, and valid. That is where the real story begins. Tell it well.
PS. Although I haven't performed as well as I hoped in my current job, due to both external and internal reasons. One challenge is that my previous experience in microfluidics doesn't fully align with the knowledge and technical skills required in my current position in biotechnology.

Still, this is a new field I chose to explore because it excites me. Interdisciplinary work has always sparked my curiosity. I see this as part of a bigger journey: I'm preparing for future research that combines microfluidic devices with biomedical applications.

It hasn't been easy. But I know I was brave enough to step into a new field, and I've been steadily gaining the lab skills and insight I need to grow in it.

This is how storytelling works. There is the power of better storytelling. It doesn't hide the struggle, but gives it shape, meaning, and direction.
