5 years of my Blog - It is been a while

Hi there,

This month marks five years since I started my blog. It's been quite a journey. This space has accompanied me through my 20s, turning pages alongside each chapter of my life.

Although I've shared my blog on many platforms, it hasn't received much attention. There are things I sometimes care about --- likes, comments --- but not here, not with this blog.

This space is different. It's where I can stay true to what I believe in, nurture my growth, and simply be. And deep down, I believe it's growing ---  silently, freely and fully.

This is my time to build the foundation. It will shine. It just takes time.

Today, I want to reflect on the journey so far.

📌 Most Active Months

  • March 2025 – 21 posts

  • January 2022 – 20 posts

  • February 2025 – 11 posts

In January 2022, I was preparing for my IELTS exam. I'm not sure how I had so much time to write --- maybe it helped improve my English, or maybe I just wanted to document the very first time I was taking the test. Either way, it turned out to be a surprisingly prolific month. (LOL)

💤 Longest Breaks

  • 9 months - July 2022 to May 2023

  • 6 months - January 2024 to August 2024

  • 5 months - January 2022 to July 2022

  • 5 months - May 2023 to November 2023

✨ Personal Highlights

✍️ My Creative Journey

  • I discovered how important writing really is.
  • I started experimenting with poems and tried writing a novel.

🌱 Milestones That Shifted My Thinking

  • Failing the first time I studied abroad. It was painful --- a sharp introduction to the reality of life.
  • Trying again. The second attempt brought even greater challenges. But this time, I embraced imperfection and stayed committed to my goal --- and eventually, I made it.
  • Learning to show myself more. I grew more confident. I began to turn what once felt like limitations into strengths.
  • Entering the world of romance. This was a turning point. Suddenly, someone else was involved who could truly affect my life. Their presence began to influence my thoughts, decisions, and future. It felt important, unfamiliar
  • Starting my first research job. It marked the transition from student life to the professional world. I learned so much not just about work, but about people, society, and how relationships evolve in real life.
  • Reimagining what a fulfilled, balanced life means. I want to build a life where I can pursue my career, embrace motherhood, and still feel deeply connected to my passions.

🌸Special moment

A special moment in this journey was when my blog was introduced on Chuyện của Ngân Blog.

After I sent Ngân, the author, a personal review of her book, she replied with highly positive feedback and genuine encouragement. She praised my writing skills and suggested I continue nurturing them, recommending that I consider writing professionally.

I had never received feedback on my writing before. Everything I'd written came from internal motivation, sometimes fueled by doubts. That small exchange felt like a light. It reminded me that my voice mattered and that someone out there believed in it too. It was the affirmation in that moment, I knew I was on the right path.

This is a beautiful tribute to my 5-year blog journey

Thank you, my little blog, for being a space where I can grow on my own terms.
