Watching a motivational speech on YouTube. My friend texted me asking what I was doing. I replied and quickly went back to the video. I didn't know where I left off.
It felt like the speech kept delivering the same core message throughout the video in different ways, which seems common in motivational talks.

I invited my colleague to have dinner with me at a restaurant near our neighborhood. At first, I convinced her to try the place I had in mind and she agreed. It turned out that she had already eaten there many times.
My colleague then changed the plan and wanted to show me another nice spot with delicious food. I was ok with it but I wasn't fully excited since I had been craving my favorite dish. We chatted along the way and stopped at the alternative restaurant and to find it closed.
In the end, we went to my favorite place, and I got to enjoy my favorite meal.
Later, I finally visited the restaurant we missed --- and it turned out to be a great spot!

On Valentine’s Day, the cafeteria at my company had a "buy one, get one free" sale. I bought instant noodles and sausages. Thanks to Valentine’s Day, I’ll have noodles and sausages to eat!

I called my brother-in-law on the phone, and he handed it to my nephew and niece. It wasn't too late, but they were supposed to sleep soon. As soon as they got the phone, they turned on the light and started yelling excitedly, “Aunt Quynh is calling! Aunt Quynh is calling!”
The two of them fought to talk first, each holding the phone and eagerly sharing everything about their day. They even showed me the stuffed animals they had brought from my house to theirs and made funny faces. Amid all the excitement, they kept playfully arguing with each other.
They didn't mind why I called --- they just kept sharing their stories, as if they, too, wanted someone to listen. They were happy, and so was I.

I received a message from a friend I met once during my solo travels. She told me she'll be visiting Vietnam in July to extend her visa. But more than that, she’s coming because she has never been to Vietnam and wants to see me again. That truly warmed my heart.
Years ago, I first saw her at the reception, busy with something. I asked if she wanted to walk and explore the city with me, but she declined since she had a flight in the evening. So, I set off alone. But just three or four minutes later, she came running after me and said she wanted to visit a museum --- which was on my list too. So, we went together, sharing moments, pictures, and even splitting the transportation fare.
She also wanted to visit another place but changed her plan at the last minute to make sure she got to the airport on time. I said goodbye, and wished her well.
Five hours later, she texted me from the airport, letting me know her flight had landed. It made me feel something --- just a small but meaningful moment, knowing she thought to update me. I replied, joking that she had made it on time because she never went back to the hotel.
Since then, we’ve occasionally kept in touch on social media.

I asked a banana cake seller for directions to Thai Thinh Street. She told me to go straight and smiled so brightly and gently that it immediately caught my attention. After finding the place, I returned to her street and bought a banana cake. But honestly, it wasn’t to my taste, LOL.

What should I eat tonight? I wish I could have Korean fried chicken. I'd buy it with rice milk or Coca-Cola and enjoy it!

As I reflect, I bought a makeup set to push myself to practice makeup skills. However, I realized I'm not excited to sit for hours practicing. Instead, I usually do my makeup and practice at the same time. It still turns out fine for going out. I figure out that my skill is doing it quickly while still making it look good by own my standards.
To truly stand out, it's not just about makeup skills --- hairstyle, accessories and clothing also play a role in creating your signature look.

I played chess after a long time --- perhaps the last time was ten years ago. I lost within minutes in consecutive matches, but the people here are kind and eager to help me develop strategies. Despite the losses, I feel truly happy.
I watched a famous movie long time ago --- The Queen's gambit. The main character has an incredible ability to visualize chess matches on the ceiling and remember every move. It’s truly outstanding.
This kind of visualization can also be used to solve math problems, as shown in the movie X + Y (A Brilliant Young Mind). I recommend watching them.
I wish my dreamer's observation could transform into something just as remarkable. For now, I can turn it into stories, thoughts, amateur poems, and maybe fiction later.
I just read a beautiful love story --- wow, she was really proactive! Given my personality, I don't think I could ever express myself that way in a romantic relationship. I'll try to be more proactive, but definitely not to that extent --- LOL.
Anyway, after reading her story, I decided to buy her book and got some ideas for my blog posts.
