Little things #2
5. Natural Improvement

When I was in secondary school or high school, I was painfully struggling in English. People around me said that if you go to live in America, England or other countries having the first language is English, you would naturally improve your English and even like a native speaker. At that time, I questioned them why. They just said broadly that if you have an environment to speak and immerse in English every day. You will enhance significantly your language. It’s always going like treatment for a child. I didn't t believe it. I thought it was impossible. Why can I improve my English when I still totally keep my mind in Vietnamese and all my English skills are terribly unacceptable? Long after that till a short time recently, I answered this question. I was completely correct. We don't naturally improve. We have to change. When we go to another country. We must adapt to it. The environment doesn't naturally improve. Environment force you to change. If you live there, you don't understand what they are talking about. There must be reminders and encouragements to push yourself. You have to find how to handle it. You attempt and practice your English skills to get used to it, to kick it out in your way. Therefore, your English will be improved. It's you. You can do it and you can make it or not. It's totally you. One day, you can proudly say: "I did it. I made it"

6. Joking
Have you ever wondered that when you watch TV series or gameshow of American or British, people in those videos were saying a joke and laughing? But you weren't. Although your English is pretty good, if you weren't born in these countries, you will not immerse yourself in their cultures. It is difficult to completely understand what a word means and how many meanings it possesses. When they said a joke. You don't know what they are mentioning. It's hard to join. When I watch the "Friend" series to study English, I rarely laugh. Also as Vietnamese culture, when you watch Táo Quân on Tet holiday and you are a foreigner. Although your Vietnamese is very good, you live in Vietnam for years. It's challenging to laugh as well. Táo Quân in Vietnam is a traditional show of Vietnamese on the Tet holiday. It's extremely interesting and funny. I laughed so much when I watch it. This is simply a joke relating to culture. For the remaining things, you definitely can laugh when you understand.
7. Homesick
"When moments I miss my hometown, I often go to the street, standing to follow the road which directs to my hometown and write letters have never sent"
Original:
"Những khi nhớ về quê hương, tôi thường ra đường đứng nhìn theo con đường hướng trở về nhà và viết những bức thư không bao giờ gửi"

8. Personal views
I am thinking that at present probably few people read this blog, even no one. A number of views are only mine (Perhaps when I'm rich and famous, it will be known by more people). I don't really care too much. My point is to keep writing my opinions and my thinking. It is also the same as a diary. I still optimistically wish someday that this blog will transmit exactly my intention to you all. In addition, to me, life also occurs such that principle.
Firstly, people don't care about you as much as you think they do. Only because they're too busy thinking about what other people think about them. That's right. As we use social media such as Facebook or Instagram, we often continuously update what we feel, what we think, or what we've just done. It's fine if it makes you feel good, makes you feel happy. Do whatever you want. But remember that people probably don't care about you as much as the way you think they do. This is a reason that I don't update frequently on Facebook. However, I am worried about it's not good to keep silent all time. We should share our information to help someone in one way or another. So, I've created this website.
Secondly, pursue excellence, pursue your dream, success will follow (3 idiots). We don't need to think seriously about outstanding success and final results. In my opinion, we should particularly focus on what we truly want and pursue, or what we would devote to this present moment. Success will come soon or late to you another beautiful day.
Thirdly, the more you share, the more you receive. You cannot imagine that what you will receive but I confirm that it is absolutely correct. When you share information, you will be received unpredictably another invaluable information. Those can be constructive opinions making you can become a better version of yourself. Or you can gain their interest, their concern, and their respect. More importantly, you get your purposes. What I want most is that readers are relaxed, refreshed and keep pursuing their dream.
Sometimes, I have got doubts about what I am writing down. I wondered it is the right thing or this is very weird and nobody does it. Whether or not someone needs these posts. Until now, I don't know. I am not sure about you but I am definitely certain that I do gain a lot from spending my tiny time but a huge amount of my free time. It's not just about English but motivation is throughout small talks I tried to motivate you. In the meantime, it also pushes me toward. From now on, I will write and no longer ask myself. Just do it (the tagline of Nike)

Bye, my dear friends.
